High definition and Low noise photographing of "AURORA" succeeded (Activity Report)
TRIC has carried out a new joint study with Goto optics institute to develop a high definition imaging tecnology for a low luminance astronomical observation.
As an experiment of the study, an observation of aurora and its photographing were done in Fairbanks, Alaska, and low noise Hi-vision imaging by the utilization of long time exposure technique and high definition continuous digital photographing were succeeded.
For 3 times from now on, we intend to introduce some resutls such as high definition processed images and Hi-vision picturization processed movies.
This time, a movie produced by consecutive photographs is introduced.
