Dr. Baker, Administrator of NOAA, visits TRIC
Dr. James Baker, under Secretary of Commerce for Ocean and Atmosphere, and NOAA Administrator, has visited Japan and China in the biginning of April 1996. While his short stay in Japan, Dr. Baker has visited TRIC on April 2nd.
NOAA and TRIC share many areas of interest involving the oceans, atmosphere and space. Dr. Baker saw all the facilities of TRIC and various kinds of images produced at TRIC. He exchanged information and discussed about future cooperation of NOAA and Tokai University with Prof. Toshibumi Sakata, Director of TRIC, Dr. Tatsuro Matsumae, President of Tokai University Educational System, Dr. Shoji Yoshida, Exective Trustee of the Board of Trustees of Tokai University Educational System, and others.
